There is a two farms at Ambewela and those are called New Zealand farm and Ambewela farms. New Zealand farm is at 1km from Ambewela and Ambewela farm is at before Ambewela. Rabbits, Cattles, Cows, Pigs, Goats and grass lands, vegetable farm, seed potatoes producing center and nice reservior is available on Ambewela farm.

Ambewela Milk powder Factory

One and only Sri Lankan milk powder producing factory is Milco milk powder factory of Ambewela. Milco milk powder factory is at 1km from Ambewela junction. There is a milk shop to buy milk products at in front of Ambewela milk powder factory. Not only milk powder but also some other products produced.

Mipilimana Lake

Mipilimana lake is also known as Kandeela lake. It is at Mipilimana of Ambewela and about 10km from Nuwareliya town. Mipilimana lake is very beautiful and boat safaris are available o it. Entrances of Ambewela

There are two main entrances to Ambewela place. One of ways is at via Boragas from Welimada, Badulla and Bandarawela place and other is at via Lindula junction from Nuwaraeliya and Nanuoya place. 8km to Ambewela from Boragas junction (Between Nuwaraeliya and Welimada) and 14km from Lindula junction (Between Nuwaraeliya and Nanuoya..
