Pattipola is a cool place of Nuwaraeliya district and at the Border of Badulla district. Pattipola is last human settlement of before Horton plains. In ahead of Pattipola place Horton reserve is started. Pattipola is surrounded several mountains. Pattipola railway station is one of the railway stations to get down to travel Horton plains. There are 10.5km to main entrance of Horton plains. If you delay to exit from Horton plains and then the mist come and covered the area. Then you can reside at Pattipola area.
