This tour is to world heritage rain forest of Sinharaja Sri Lanka from Pitadheniya Road of Deniyaya Sri Lanka.

Places to visit

In Sinharaja rain forest there are several places to visit in Pitadeniya (Southern) Entrance. There are about 8 beautiful waterfalls you can see in the Pitadeniya enterence. And also conservation resourse center, Wathugala hanging bridge, Thudawa camp, Lions rock and another various endemic and another resourses at Sinharaja Rain forest.

Natural plants and endemic varieties

Sinharaja has various type of natural plants, species and endemic varieties. Biological and Bio-diversity of Sinharaja forest is very higher than other places of Sri Lanka. Sinharaja is situated at monotone wet zone of Sri Lanka and is rained at every times of year. Species of Sinharaja are feeded by Southwest monsoon in June - September.

Residental places

In Pitadeniya entrance there are some residental places. Pitadeniya conservation center is specially for it. First you should get permission to reside of it. All facilities, information and learning service also available at this place. Charges of it is very lower than others.

Waterfals

There are 8 very beautiful waterfalls and unlimited waterways at Pitadeniya enterence to Sinharaja forest. Those are Kekuna falls, Pathanoya falls, Malmora falls, Brahmana falls, Galdoru falls, Uran Wetuna falls, Thattu falls and Dhoowili falls. All those waterfalls and catogories in Sri Lankan major waterfalls list and it may seen various sceneries in various angles. Some waterfalls are very higher and some are narrow once. Dhoowili falls is most beautiful waterfall in Sinharaja and Galdoru falls is some what different shape of waterfalls. Waterfalls locations at below section.

How much rules and low at the country there are some profiteers are at Sinharaja forest. This is world heritage forest in Sri Lanka. There fore we much conserve this for future genaration.

Way to Pitadeniya Enterence

Way to Sinharaja forest from Pitadeniya road is not very difficult. First come to Deniyaya via Galle, Matara and Akuressa or any place. Then you have to go to Lankagama on bus at 27Km and then go 3km by foot to the border of Sinharaja forest or Sinharaja coservation center.

Enjoyable

You can enjoy a lot and there are several waterways to bath in Sinharaja forest. If enjoy well but don't disturb animals and don't pollute the environment on your journey. Our request is "Please protect it".
